Peer-to-Peer Printing
In a Peer-to Peer Printing architecture, Edimax's print server acts as an interface between network clients and the printer. Edimax's print server supports the most common network protocols (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX and NetBEUI), enabling network clients to share the printer without having to worry about the compatibility problems that may exist between clients and the printer.

Server-Based Printing
In a Server-based Printing architecture, network clients send printing jobs to a server, allowing the server to queue printing jobs from multiple clients. The server then connects with Edimax's print server to execute the various printing jobs. Server-based Printing alleviates network clients' printing wait time and allow clients to seamlessly send simultaneous printing jobs, hence increasing your networks performance and efficiency.
