Q: Why my 300 Mbps wireless adapter only can reach 135Mbps? The 150Mbps wireless adapter only can reach 65Mbps.

A:

While the wireless adpater receives excellent signal from your wireless router, it automatically reaches the maximum speed either 300Mbps or 150Mbps depends on your wireless adapter. If a 300Mbps wireless adapter only can reach 130Mbps and 150Mbps wireless adapter only can reach 65Mbps, you may check the bandwidth setting in your wireless router. Make sure your router use the Auto 20/40 MHz for channel bandwidth.

Here is a screen shot from Edimax Wireless router. You can find the settings under General Setup -> Wireless -> Advanced Settings.
