EW-7128Gn is a 32-bit wireless PCI adapter which provides a simple and easy way to add or upgrade wireless connectivity to your desktop or notebook computer. This PCI adapter supports higher data rates up to 150Mpbs when connected to a wireless 802.11n device. You can also connect to any public wireless hotspot for Internet to retrieve e-mail, surf web sites or use instant messaging. EW-7128Gn gives you the freedom to join the network.

Wireless 802.11n Standard (data rates up to 150Mbps)
The Edimax EW-7128Gn means increased wireless coverage and higher data transmission rates. The latest wireless technology is built into this device to broaden its wireless coverage by 3 times and to reduce dead spots within the wireless range. The EW-7128Gn complies with wireless IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards and can reach data transmission rates of up to 150Mbps when connected to wireless 802.11n devices. It also extends its wireless signal distance, and provides more reliable wireless connections than standard IEEE 802.11b/g wireless networks.

Detachable antenna

EW-7128Gn supports 64/128-bit WEP data encryption that protects your wireless network from eavesdropping. It also supports WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) feature that combines IEEE 802.1x and TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) technologies. Furthermore, this adaptor supports WPA2 and WPS functions, WPA2 provides a stronger encryption mechanism through AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), which is a requirement for some corporate and government users. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard for easy and secure establishment of a wireless network. EW-7128Gn supports software WPS-compatible configuration. When both ends of the wireless connection use wireless solution with WPS, it will automatically configure the wireless network with robust WPA data encryption and authentication.
