My laptop has a built-in wireless adapter. It says "No wireless networks available". My laptop is close to the Edimax Wireless router.

Solution:

The built-in wireless adapter of your laptop could be disabled.

Please verify the wireless function of your laptop is enabled.

Some laptops have a slide switch on front of laptop. Some laptops use Function key (Fn + F2) to toggle the wireless function. Some laptops use Function key Fn + F5 key. Some laptops use Function Key FN + F8.
