Q:  Why the Print Server Configuration Utility can not find PS-3205U?

A:  If the PrintServer Configuration utility can not find PS-3205U, please try the following.

1. Use the Utility v3.3 or later.  
The Utility v3.2 may not able to find PS-3205U series products.

2. Check the build-in Firewall in Windows XP systems.
If the firewall is enabled,please disable it.

When client tries to establish the connection to printer server, the client PC will open a port DYNAMICALLY. It doesn't always use port:512 to establish the connection to printer server. User has to disable Winxp's firewall function to print documents through printer sever.

Should you prefer enable the firewall, you can use Standard TCP/IP Port then make exception on Port 515.  For more detail, you can refer this FAQ.
