Q. How to install Windows 2000
driver for EU-4201 LAN adapter?
Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows2000 :
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Before you start with the installation
process, make sure that your
USB 10/100M Fast Ethernet Adapter should
be properly installed in
your USB port. Executing Windows2000,
it will auto-detect your
system configuration and find the adapter
hardware.
- Install Hardware Device Driver Wizard
will ask you how to install, please select "Search
for a suitable driver for my device".
- Locate Driver Files Wizard will ask
you where is the driver location, please select
"Floppy disk driver".
- When Digital Signature not found windows
appear, please press "Yes" button to continue
installation.
- If Windows2000 appear a message that
it can not found AN986N.INF/ AN986N.SYS, please
specify the driver path name A:\
- Windows2000 will appear some messages
to insert Windows2000 system disk to complete setup
step.
- Windows2000 will finish the other
installation procedure automatically, then
ask you restart the system.

Q. How to install Windows 98
driver for EU-4201 LAN adapter?
Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Win98/Win98 SE:
Before you start with the installation
process, make sure that your USB 10/100M Fast Ethernet Adapter should
be properly installed in your USB port. Executing Win98/Win98
SE, it will auto-detect your system configuration and find the adapter
hardware.
- Ask you to select which driver you
want to install, select "Driver from disk provided
by hardware manufacturer".
- Insert the USB 10/100M Fast Ethernet
disk into drive A and specify the setup file pathname
A:\
- If Windows2000 appear a message that
it can not found AN986N.INF/ AN986N.SYS, please
specify the driver path name A:\
- Win98/Win98 SE will appear some messages
to insert Win98/Win98 SE system disk to complete
setup step.
- Win98/Win98 SE will finish the other
installation procedure automatically, then
you restart the system.

Q: How to verify if the
driver is properly installed or not?
Answer: Check the Device Manager in System of Control Panel.
Click the + sign of Network Adapter to see the USB Fast Ethernet adapter
driver. Make sure there is no exclamation mark on the Ethernet driver.
Double click or go to the property of the Ethernet driver. If the
Device Status shows "the device is working properly", the driver has been
installed properly.

Q: If the driver is not
properly installed or has problem, how to reinstall the driver?
Answer: If the Device Status does not show "the device is working
properly" message, the driver is not properly installed. You can
try click the "update drivers" button to reload the driver from A:\ directory.
